Road closure this week during Mayfield's Hall Hotel demolition

Demolition is underway at the old Hall Hotel on the square in Mayfield.

Starting Tuesday, the intersection was closed at 7th Street and Broadway on the northwest corner of the square.

It's estimated that the demolition will take about a week.

The historic 1930-era building was severely damaged in the 2021 tornado, but only this year was condemned.
