Starting at around 6 p.m. tonight, a KYTC contractor will begin a night time lane restriction on I-24 in the westbound lanes in McCracken County.
Between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. this week, the contractor will be installing traffic sensors in both westbound lanes in spots from the 13 mile marker to just past Exit 3.
After the westbound lanes are complete, crews will turn around and work eastbound.
The work is expected to take about five days to complete.
