Reward offered after Eddyville Christmas display vandalized

The City of Eddyville is offering a reward for information about who vandalized a portion of the city's Christmas display just as they were scheduled to be lit on Saturday night.

The damage was discovered that afternoon and a Facebook post offering the reward was placed around 4 p.m. The undamaged portion of the lights went on as scheduled.

The city is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the vandalism.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Eddyville Police at 270-388-2287 or city hall at 270-388-2226.
