Blandville Road back open after semi knocks over utility pole

A semi-crash along Blandville Road blocked traffic Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at about 3:20 p.m. on US 62/Blandville Road between KY 286 and Fisher Road. The truck hit a utility pole causing wires to fall across the roadway. The truck sustained enough damage that it needed a tow truck.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office and DES expected cleanup to take about two hours. The utility pole will have to be replaced.
