A Princeton police officer was treated for minor injuries after a police cruiser in pursuit of a suspect was struck by a Post Office van.

The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon when the Princeton police detective activated his emergency lights as he attempted to catch and stop a suspect vehicle on West Market Street.
At the intersection of North Seminary Street, the traffic signal changed to red and the officer continued through the intersection, when his patrol car was struck by a U.S. Postal Service van.

WPKY reported that both drivers were transported to Caldwell Medical Center, treated and released.
