Several tips led to multiple arrests on Friday, including a wanted man hiding out in Carlisle County.
Officials said they began monitoring a home on Road Street in Bardwell, where they identified 47-year-old John Bivins. He was arrested soon afer without incident.
Bivins was wanted out of Jefferson County on a parole violation warrant.
The sheriff's office said Bivins had been paroled out of prison to a halfway house where he was under a court order to complete a substance abuse program.
Bivins allegedly left before completing the program.
A woman at the home was also arrested for hindering prosecution. The unnamed woman was reportedly aware Bivins was wanted.
They were taken to the Ballard County jail.
