Pothole repair to force lane restrictions on I-24 in Lyon County

Work to fill potholes and repair concrete surfaces along westbound I-24 in Lyon County will reduce traffic to one lane on Thursday and Friday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to work on westbound I-24 between the 50 and 52-mile markers on those two days from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The left lane will be open through the work zone. 

Crews are expected to work in small segments so as not to create larger backups.
