Jackson Purchase Energy sends crews to help Kenergy in Lyon, Crittenden counties

Jackson Purchase Energy has dispatched several teams to assist Kenergy  with power restoration efforts in the Kentucky Pennyrile, as well as Crittenden and Lyon counties.

After getting everyone reconnected in their own six-county service area, JPEC has sent four two-man teams to work with Kenergy until all power is restored in their territory.

Kenergy, based in Henderson, said that Henderson County has the most customers without power, but there are also still customers out in Lyon, Crittenden, Union, and Daviess counties. 

JPEC said that cooperation between companies helps to get power back on as quickly as possible in the safest manner.
