Head on collision sends Paducah man to hospital

One person was sent to the hospital following a head-on collision Tuesday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the collision in the 5000 block of Hansen Road in Paducah.

Deputies said a vehicle slid on a patch of ice going through a turn, causing the vehicle to cross into the oncoming lane, striking head-on with a vehicle driven by Kenneth Meredith of Paducah.

Meredith was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
