A Paducah man was charged Tuesday with trafficking in methamphetamine after McCracken County Sheriff's detectives and officers with the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole conducted a search at a residence on Virginia Street.

During the search detectives and probation officers allegedly seized more than 90 grams of crystal meth, suboxone strips, morphine pills and a loaded handgun.

Authorities said they arrested 34-year-old Justin Baldwin of Paducah, where he was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

They said Baldwin has an extensive criminal history with at least three prior convictions for trafficking in methamphetamine and was on parole at the time of this new arrest.

He was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of suboxone and morphine. The other individual at the residence has not been charged and the investigation is ongoing.
