Murray woman arrested for sexual abuse

A Murray woman has been arrested for sexual abuse of a minor. 

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 30-year-old Mellisa Pawlik was arrested Saturday following an investigation of an incident that took place on February 4. 

It was reported in February that Pawlik subjected a 13-year-old juvenile in her care to sexual contact by physical force that overcame physical resistance.

She was arrested and charged with sexual abuse and taken to the Calloway County Jail.
