Murray man arrested on federal indictment warrant

A Murray man was arrested on a federal indictment warrant on Wednesday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said deputies along with officials from the DEA and Kentucky State Police arrested 48-year-old Gary D. Sims following a drug trafficking investigation. 

Sims was taken into federal custody by DEA and transported to McCracken County to be held.  

Sims was indicted under Title 21 of United States Code for three counts of distribution of methamphetamine and one county of possession with intent to distribute meth.
