A drug investigation spanning several counties over two days resulted in nine arrests.
In total, agencies seized 4 vehicles used to facilitate drug crimes, nearly $10,000 in cash, six pounds of meth, hundreds of fentanyl pills and 100 grams of cocaine.
Wednesday morning, McCracken County detectives stopped Coreyaunta Rhodes on Old Mayfield Road. He was arrested for two outstanding warrants for failure to appear in felony cases for robbery and assault.
Wednesday afternoon, McCracken County detectives, along with the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole searched a home on Old Mayfield Road and allegedly located methamphetamine. Brandon Elias and Ashley Wooldridge were arrested.
Also on Wednesday, McCracken County detectives stopped Rodney Freeman on US 62. Detectives allegedly seized nearly 100 grams of methamphetamine and $1,000 in suspected drug money. Working with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, there was enough to get a search warrant for Freeman's home on Retirement Circle in Marshall County. At the home, more methamphetamine was allegedly seized. In addition, Bradley Riley of Paducah arrived, and reportedly had meth, money, and a loaded handgun. He and Freeman were arrested. Both have prior trafficking convictions and were on probation.
On Thursday morning, a search warrant was served on a home on Carl E Drive across from Community Christian Academy. Detectives allegedly found a pound of crystal meth, over one hundred fentanyl pills, 100 grams of cocaine, and around $8,500 believed to be from drug sales. Caryon Johnson was arrested. He has prior trafficking convictions, and was reportedly involved in a murder case in the 90's.
Thursday afternoon, McCracken County deputies, Kentucky State Police and ATF served a search warrant on a residence in Ledbetter on Clarks Ferry Road. Troopers and deputies allegedly recovered two pounds of methamphetamine and cash. Jerry Robertson and Michelle Davis were at the home, and were arrested. Both have prior trafficking convictions.
Also on Thursday, detectives from McCracken and Marshall County set up a meth buy from an alleged supplier of the drug in Western Kentucky and Tennessee. The purchase was to take place in a parking lot in Fulton County. Several agencies coordinated to arrest Treon A. McElrath, who was allegedly in possession of over three pounds of meth.
The investigations were conducted in conjunction with Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole, ATF, DEA, Fulton City Police and sheriff's offices in McCracken, Graves, Marshall, Livingston, Calloway, Hickman, and Fulton counties.
