Miss Quad Cities takes title of Miss Illinois at pageant in Marion

Jessica Tilton was named Miss Illinois 2023 at the pageant held Saturday night in Marion.

The 25 year-old won the title and a $10,000 scholarship after nearly a week of performances and interviews at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center.

She will compete in the Miss America pageant in December. 

Tilton competed as Miss Quad Cities. There were a total of 26 candidates from across the state, including Miss Metropolis Hope Pearcy. 

Over $50,000 in scholarships were awarded to several Miss Illinois and Miss Illinois Teen candidates during the week.
