McCracken County School Board sets meeting to begin superintendent search

The McCracken County School Board has called a special meeting for Monday, February 13th at 8 a.m. to set the search for a new Superintendent into motion.

Current superintendent Steve Carter announced in January that he will retire at the end of June. 

The meeting at the Board of Education Office will cover criteria for candidates, salary range, recruitment materials, establishing a committee to screen candidates, and a timeline.

Carter assumed the superintendent role in May of 2019.
