Karnak man jailed after threatening to kill wife

A Karnak man was arrested last week after threatening to kill his wife.

Metropolis Police received a 911 call that 56-year-old David L. Doublin was enroute to kill his wife at her job in Metropolis.

A traffic stop was initiated and Doublin was intercepted.  He was found in possession of a hand gun.

Doublin was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful use/possession of a weapon and other weapons charges.  He was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
