The McCracken and Graves County Sheriff's Offices conducted a joint investigation that resulted in the arrest of a South Fulton man on drug charges.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the two departments received information that 58-year-old Steven Britt was traveling to McCracken County to deliver a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

Tuesday evening at approximately 6:30, detectives say Britt arrived at a gas station on Old US 45 in the Boaz area of McCracken County.

He was detained without incident, and a search of his vehicle allegedly revealed approximately 231 grams of methamphetamine.

Britt was arrested on a charge of trafficking in methamphetamine and was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
