Mayfield man injured in truck accident in Graves County

A Mayfield man was injured in a traffic accident Monday afternoon in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said they responded to McKendree Church Road where they determined that 79-year-old Lee Boyd Nelson Jr. was driving when he experienced a medical episode in which he lost consciousness. He traveled off the roadway came to a rest in a ditch.

Nelson was transported from the scene to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment.
