Traffic violation turns drug arrest for Gilbertsville man

A stop for a traffic violation turned into a drug arrest for a Gilbertsville man on Monday.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle on Sharpe School Road that was driven by 67-year-old Anthony Wallace of Gilbertsville. Wallace was charged with improper passing. A search of his vehicle also uncovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Wallace was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
