Hardin man charged with murdering brother

A Marshall County man was arrested for allegedly killing his brother.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Brewers Highway in Hardin, early Monday morning, for a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found the resident, 45-year-old Donald Hopkins, dead in his living room.  

During the investigation, evidence suggested to detectives that the victim's brother, Mark Hopkins, had shot and killed him.

On Friday, Mark Hopkins was arrested and charged with murder. He is being held in the Marshall County Jail.
