Graves County woman arrested following Monday pursuit

A Graves County woman was taken into custody following a pursuit Monday morning.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said about 10:30 am, deputies observed a vehicle on KY 131 driving in an erratic manner. 

When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver, 52-year-old Jill Adeen Corcoran of Graves County, sped up to speeds exceeding 95 mph, while travelling southbound.

Corcoran lost control of the vehicle in the 5200 block, spinning out and running off the roadway. The pursuit lasted about 3 miles.

Corcoran was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and a 3/4 empty bottle of vodka was found in the front passenger seat.

She was charged with DUI, fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, speeding and other charges. 

Corcoran was transported to an out of county detention facility.
