Benton man facing drug charges after disturbance at KenBar

A Benton man is facing drug charges after a disturbance at KenBar Lodge on Sunday.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the lodge off US 641 just before 10 p.m. Sunday by a woman claiming a man had threatened her and infringed on items belonging to her. Their investigation led them to 49-year-old Mark Alan Connelly of Benton. Deputies reportedly found Connelly with methamphetamine and marijuana.

Connelly was arrested and charged with possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.
