A Graves County woman was charged with DUI and evading police after she reportedly fled from a traffic stop on Monday.
A Graves County Sheriffs deputy said he observed a vehicle on KY 131 driving in an erratic manner. When he attempted to stop the vehicle, the operator accelerated to speeds exceeding 95 mph, After about 3 miles, the operator lost control of the vehicle, spun out and ran off the roadway.
The deputy said the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and a 3/4-empty bottle of vodka was found in the front passenger seat.
The deputy arrested 52-year-old Jill Adeen Corcoran on charges of DUI, fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, speeding 96 in a 55-mph zone, and other charges.
