Two people were arrested, one on drug charges, following a routine traffic stop in Graves County.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said a deputy stopped a vehicle at 12:36 am Thursday for a traffic violation.
During the stop it was discovered that the passenger had an active arrest warrant out of Graves County.
While searching the vehicle the deputy allegedly found several syringes loaded with what was suspected to be methamphetamine. The deputy also reportedly found suspected methamphetamine while searching the driver, 39-year-old April Pettigrew of Mayfield.
Pettigrew was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
