Four arrested, another sought in Graves County drug investigation

Four suspects have been arrested and a fifth is being sought in a series of drug investigations in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday several individuals were identified as selling crystal methamphetamine in and around Mayfield and Graves County.  

Arrested Tuesday was 56-year-old Randy L. Dortch of Dublin.  He was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with trafficking in methamphetamine, persistent felony offender and other charges. This Indictment was the result of recent undercover crystal Methamphetamine purchases made from Dortch.

He was out on bond following a meth trafficking arrest last year and was scheduled to be sentenced on those charges in August.

Forty-three year old Dean L. O'Reilly of the Golo area was arrested last Friday at his Byrd Road residence on an indictment warrant charging him with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, persistent felony offender and other charges. A preceding undercover investigation resulted in multiple crystal Meth purchases being made from him..

On Tuesday, 56-year-old Paul H. Hayes of Mayfield was arrested on a warrant and after selling methamphetamine during a preceding investigation.  He has a number of prior convictions.

Last Friday, 33-year-old Shania L. Dillon of Mayfield was arrested on a traffic stop while under surveillance.  She claimed at the time of the stop that she swallowed illegal drugs. Dillon was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and later to a detention center.

She was also served with an indictment warrant charging her with trafficking in methamphetamine, persistent felony offender and other charges.  Crystal methamphetamine purchases had been made from Dillion during the preceding investigation.

Detectives are still searching for 58-year-old Melody K. Howard for methamphetamine trafficking in Graves County. An arrest warrant was issued for her earlier this month.
