Domestic altercation lands Marshall County man in jail

A domestic altercation on Saturday landed a Marshall County man in jail.

Calvert City Police were called out to US 68 and Pioneer Lane on Saturday after a report of a woman walking in the roadway holding a blood-covered towel to her face. Their investigation alleged that the woman's boyfriend, 40-year-old Steven George Lichtenberg, used his elbow in an assault on her.

Lichtenberg was charged with 4th-degree assault, dating violence.
