Dexter woman facing drug charges after traffic stop

A Dexter woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Monday night.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle along US 641 near Charlie Miller Road just before midnight for a traffic violation. The driver, 34-year-old Chelsey Conner of Dexter, was reportedly in possession of a prescription medication not prescribed to her.

Conner was charged with possession of hydrocodone and a prescription not in a proper container. 

Conner was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
