Convicted burglar, sex offender facing new charges in Paducah

A convicted burglar and sex offender will face new charges after Paducah police said multiple women reported him acting lewdly.

Authorities said a woman reported a man on her porch exposing himself and masturbating.

Another woman in the same neighborhood said she awoke one night to find the same man in her living room.

Detectives began looking for answers and learned of a third victim who reported the man fondling himself behind her.

The suspect, identified as Gil J. Askew, was charged with indecent exposure, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

While interviewing Askew on Thursday, officers said he became combative, pushing a chair and drawing back as if to strike an officer.

He was taken to the McCracken County jail.
