Construction closures continue on Old Friendship and Seneca Lane in Paducah

Ongoing work on the Friendship Road reconstruction project will close a pair of nearby streets to facilitate the moving of equipment and dirt.

Old Friendship Road and Seneca Lane will be closed each day next week between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be running trucks of dirt along the streets just off of North Friendship Road.

KYTC said there would be no marked detour, but that residents of Indian Hills could self-detour using Mohawk or Iroquois off of Lone Oak Road. 

The closure should not affect traffic on North Friendship Road.
