Cold weather advisory issued for Saturday night, Sunday

As we have been bracing for all week, the coldest air of the season so far will arrive this weekend.

A cold weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service, in effect Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Dangerously cold temperatures Sunday morning will reach single digits, and wind chills will be below zero regionwide.

A warming trend next week will cause temperatures to rise back above normal to around 50 by Wednesday.
