City of Paducah pays tribute to Hammond

Paducah Mayor George Bray has directed the City of Paducah flag be lowered to half-staff from Friday through Sunday in honor of Mary Hammond. 

Hammond, the city's long time executive director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, passed away March 3.

Meanwhile, the Paducah Civic Beautification Board is donating seven dogwoods in honor of  Hammond. 

They will be planted on Monday at Dolly McNutt Memorial Plaza.
