Altercation leads to burglary charges for Cadiz woman

A Cadiz woman was charged with burglary after an altercation Thursday night.

According to WKDZ, the Trigg County Sheriff's Department reports that deputies were called to a Hickory Lane home where 57-year-old Leigh Daily, was intoxicated, had damaged a door, and entered the home, allegedly attempting to strangle her daughter.

Deputies said Daily had reportedly already fled the scene before they arrived, but later found her at her home.

Daily was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
