After a definite fall feel this weekend, temperatures will heat up again next week until we're treated to the chance for a soaking rain on Halloween.
The National Weather Service office in Paducah says our temperatures in the 60s and 70s this weekend are what's normal for this time of year. But next week we'll venture back to highs up to highs 10 to 15 degrees above average.
South winds will get breezy Tuesday and Wednesday, but they'll eventually blow in the first significant rain we've seen since Hurricane Helene. Halloween day and night could see more than a half inch of rain.
After that, 60s and 70s will return for next weekend.
