Benton woman arrested on assault, indecent exposure charges

A Benton woman was arrested for indecent exposure and assault of a police officer after a traffic stop in Calloway County on Wednesday.

Deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Morgan Thompson at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies alleged Thompson was under the influence of a substance other than alcohol.

She also reportedly exposed herself and kicked a deputy while resisting arrest.

Thompson is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, indecent exposure, endangering the welfare of a minor, resisting arrest, and third-degree assault of a police officer.
