Calvert City man cited on drug charges

Calvert City police cited a Calvert City man to court on drug charges after being found in his fan asleep Sunday near the city's pickleball court bathrooms.

Investigators noticed 55-year-old Shane Alan Force's vehicle had the odor of burnt marijuana and observed a one hitter pipe.  

Force stated that it was CBD and gave the officer a Rubbermaid container with a green leafy substance stored in it.  The green leafy substance field tested positive for marijuana/THC.  

He was cited to court for possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
