Two Graves County brothers were found guilty Friday for abusing multiple children.
The Graves Commonwealth Attorney said Monday James Lewis Watts and James Edward Watts were found guilty of a number of charges after three children testified against James Lewis Watts, who was married to their mother.
The children who were six, seven and nine at the time, now teenagers, provided the jury with powerful testimony about the sexual abuse they suffered in 2017.
Formal sentencing against the Watts brothers is scheduled for August 21st.
A Graves County grand jury recommended the maximum penalty allowed against both men: four life sentences for James Lewis Watts and one life sentence for James Edward Watts..
