Two arrested on drug charges after Monday night traffic stop near Paducah

Two people were arrested and will face drug charges after a Monday night traffic stop near Paducah.

At about 10:20 p.m. Monday, McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Josiah Fisk of McKenzie, Tennessee, along John Puryear Drive near Oaks Road. Deputies said that they searched the car and allegedly found a number of fentanyl pills, plus methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that are said to have belonged to Fisk and his passenger, 23-year-old Kristen Smith of Hardin.

The two were arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Fisk was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and traffic violations.
