Traffic stop ends with DUI charge in Murray

A Murray man was arrested for driving under the influence of meth following a traffic stop Saturday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said a deputy stopped a vehicle on S 12th Street believing the driver was possibly intoxicated.

The deputy said 40-year-old Jonathan Drum failed the standardized field sobriety tests. In addition, the deputy allegedly found methamphetamine in the vehicle. 

Drum was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance.
