Caldwell County traffic stop ends in man's arrest on meth charge

A traffic stop in Caldwell County on Wednesday led to the arrest of a Dawson Springs man on drug and other charges.

Deputies stopped a motorcycle that was allegedly speeding on Dawson Road, and a search reportedly uncovered methamphetamine.

The driver, 56-year-old Gilbert Lopez, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and other traffic-related offenses.

He was taken to the Caldwell County jail.
