A traffic stop Monday night in Mayfield led to two people being arrested.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday the stop occurred in an area near North 2nd Street in Mayfield for an equipment violation.
The driver of the vehicle, 52-year-old Charmaine E. Gunn of Mayfield formerly of Antioch, Illinois, began giving investigators false information.
A records check revealed that she was wanted on felony charges out of Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The charges included felony intimidation of a victim, use of dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.
A passenger in the vehicle, 50-year-old Carlton S. Haymes of Mayfield was found in a records check to be wanted on an active Kentucky Parole Board warrant, revoking his parole for underlying charges which included felony burglary. He also had two Graves County Circuit Courts bench warrants.
The two were first taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center then to out-of-county detention centers.
