Murray State University once again has selected a new provost and vice president of academic affairs.
Dr. Paul Twigg comes to MSU from the University of Nebraska Kearney. He brings more than 30 years of academic experience to the position.
Since 2022, Twigg has served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the largest academic college within UNK, with responsibilities including budgetary direction, oversight and planning, strategic plan development, and faculty recruitment and retention.
Twigg will begin his new duties July 1st. He replaces Dr. Tim Todd, who resigned the position last November.
A new provost was announced in December, but by January she had withdrawn from the post.
