Woman airlifted to Evansville after I-69 crash in Caldwell County

A Louisville woman was flown to an Evansville hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 69 in Caldwell County on Wednesday.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff's office, 44-year-old Amanda Merideth was traveling on I-69 when her car crossed the median and crashed into the tree line near the 87 mile marker.

Merideth was flown by Air Evac to Deaconess Midtown for her injuries.
