Wanted Tennessee man jailed on Calloway drug charges

An investigation stemming from a March traffic stop in Calloway County landed a Tennessee man behind bars.

During the stop on New Providence Road, authorities reportedly found drugs belonging to 37-year-old Albert Thompson.

An arrest warrant was issued, and Thompson was found in Murray on Friday.

Thompson was jailed on charges of possession of meth and paraphernalia, operating on a suspended license, and other traffic-related charges.

He was taken to the Calloway County jail.
