Benton man jailed on drug charges

A Benton man was arrested Wednesday on drug related charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a hotel in the 5700 block of Cairo Road.

Detectives found 53-year-old Shane Rhoades in the hotel room and during the search crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and money believed to be proceeds of illicit drug sales.  

Rhoades was charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
