A wanted Paducah man was arrested on multiple new charges in Livingston County on Tuesday.
Deputies said they arrested 36-year-old William Schmidt in connection with a warrant issued by the Kentucky Parole Board.
Schmidt was found at home on Paradise Road, where deputies allegedly also found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities also identified Schmidt as the alleged perpetrator of a burglary complaint at an Iuka residence as the result of a parallel investigation.
Along with the warrant Schmidt is now facing multiple charges, including first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree burglary.
