A wanted McCracken County man is facing additional drug charges following his arrest on Thursday.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said deputies were patrolling the Lone Oak area in an attempt to locate 47-year-old Jason Chapman who was wanted on five counts of an Emergency Protection Order violation.
A deputy saw a vehicle believed to be driven by Chapman on Blandville Road, and Chapman was detained and then taken into custody.
The Sheriff's Office said K9 Bobi was deployed and the vehicle was searched. Deputies reportedly found a quantity of methamphetamine and open containers of alcohol.
Chapman was arrested on the warrants and additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
