The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as they search for a hit-and-run suspect that knocked out power to a neighborhood on Clarkline Road.
Deputies said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle reportedly struck a power pole and was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
Paducah Power was called and crews quickly restored power to the neighborhood.
The search continues for the suspect vehicle. It is described as a newer model, dark gray SUV that is missing its passenger side mirror and has a broken window on the front passenger side.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s office.
