A Louisville man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested after a foot pursuit in Paducah on Saturday.
Paducah Police received a tip that 27-year-old Cole Jarrett Fields was in Paducah. An officer located a vehicle near Guthrie and 17th Streets that Fields was said to be driving, and they saw Fields walking toward it.
The officer called Fields by name, prompting Fields to run. The officer then released K-9 officer Don, who caught Fields after a brief chase.
Fields was allegedly found with a large bag of meth, smoking pipes, and a large amount of cash on him at the time of the arrest.
Fields was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, fleeing and evading, parole violation, a Graves County warrant charging him with rape, and a host of other warrants out of McCracken, Ballard, and Graves counties.
