Paducah man arrested on rape, other charges

A Paducah man and his grandmother were arrested on Wednesday.

The McCracken County Sheriffs Office said 24-year-old James Robinson had provided a family member with marijuana.

After consuming the marijuana with a juvenile relative, Robinson initated sexual contact with a juvenile relative.

Detectives also learned the grandmother, 78-year-old Oretha Snow of Kevil, who was a caretaker for the juvenile, knew about the incident and failed to report it.  

Robinson faces charges including incest, rape and unlawful transaction with a minor.  He was on parole at the time of his arrest.

Snow is charged with failure to report child abuse.
