Murray women arrested on drug charges

Two Murray women were arrested Friday night following a traffic stop in Murray.

According to Murray Police, an officer conducted a traffic stop at South 12th Street and Peggy Ann Drive at approximately 8:30 pm.

K9 Bonnie and her handler assisted with the stop, and an alert to the presence of narcotics was given.

One ounce of methamphetamine, two ounces of marijuana, and items consistent with trafficking were allegedly located.

The driver, 33-year-old Taylor R. Boggess, and the passenger, 43-year-old Deborah E. Coday, were arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
